PRESS RELEASE

Strategic advice proves successful for client seeking European acquisition

Chris Hadley Consulting was recently successful in offering assistance to a UK waste company looking to make an acquisition in Western Europe. The client, who was already active in both hazardous and healthcare segments of the market, was seeking to replicate its business model outside of the UK.

The practice initially provided advice on conditions and prospects within the wider European market. From this four target markets were chosen for more detailed research. This involved analysis of the structure of national waste markets, trends in areas such as service and pricing as well as local competitive conditions. For each market a list of potential acquisition targets were ultimately presented for further due diligence.

The project is a continuation of Chris Hadley Consulting’s work over the past decade in assisting clients involved in the waste and wider environmental sector. Here the practice has undertaken reviews for both public and private sector clients as well as specific customer research and strategic assistance. More recently two reports were complied into the prospects for Western European municipal and hazardous waste markets on behalf of Frost & Sullivan (www.frost.com). An extract from one of these reports can be found in December’s edition of Waste Management World (www.waste-management-world.com).
