Publication of the Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change

October 2006 saw the long-awaited publication of the Stern Review on the economics of climate change and development.

The report highlights the potentially damaging impacts of climate change on both the UK and global economy. It suggests that if no action is taken to address this issue the costs of dealing with the consequences of climate change could be considerable.
